A Heritage Destroyed

This video from Résistance Républicaine has had over a million views at YouTube. Here's a hasty translation of this rather depressing French chant, with words by "Peuple de France".

I speak of a country that I hold in my heart, a country of reason, dreams, splendors. A country that draws from its ancient roots in faith and in Christian values. We are secular in our hearts, but our memories are of the road followed. Despite what some say, it has been a long heritage: crucifixes, churches and cathedrals erected on this land are the ancestral witnesses of that era.

Note: The author is not speaking of everybody when he says that they are "secular in their hearts." Some have never rejoiced in the 1905 law separating Church and State, that created laïcité, which is now being used to allow the Islamization of France. 

Today in the projects, the ghettos, the suburbs, the veil is their finery, and not a word of French is heard. Mixed in the odor of kebab and the sound of North African music is the hateful image of a France that is being eradicated.

We are tired, worn out by complaints from ethnic groups: those greedy believers who see France as a land in submission to the noble cause of their religion that slowly eats away and takes over. This is the great replacement. Replacement of our values, values dear to our infidel hearts, replacement of a people in tears, whom no one listens to. They give away visas, destroy our borders, and make illegals legal. There's massive unemployment, but our land belongs to them.

France, land of asylum - that's all right with me. But she must not forget her own people. The words "borders" and "patriots" have slowly become taboo. The bleeding hearts have won.

A Trojan horse infiltrated our walls furtively. We weren't aware, their pure words were of peace and love. They brandish signs reading "Human Rights". They forget their duties, but we open our Kingdom to them.

Note: Some of this is naive. The "duty" of most non-European immigrants is to destroy European societies and to take over. So they are actually doing their duty. Unless you still believe that accommodation is possible. I believe we are well past that point. The only hope now is to close the borders and make life miserable for these immigrants who might then prefer to go home. Deportation of millions upon millions seems to be no longer an option, short of a major conflict, which would end badly for the French anyway, since Hollande is talking about drastic reductions in Defense, almost to the point of abolishing the military. So not only can the people not bear arms, even the army cannot bear arms!

We have built mosques, our slaughterhouses have become halal, a veiled woman was almost elected to the National Assembly. Worse, foreigners will have voting rights. No one agrees with this, but still they say "don't insult my pal, the Immigrant".

My country has a rich past, with holidays and traditions. They want to erase everything once and for all, in order not to upset anybody, or in the name of a laïcité they trample on so that they can build mosques.

It is often said that Religion lifts the soul. I think instead that some religions reach for their weapons. Out of a desire for power or to make Notre Dame tremble, their precious "sesame" is our bleeding heart.
